Jeremiah 33:3 (NAS) 'Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.'
Dear Friends, in what is a miraculous demonstration of God's sovereignty the surgeon called us back in quickly after the procedure began to let us know that the APV channel was found to be "perfect, pink and healthy. There was evidence of blockage but it's simply gone." This was not the case even 48 hrs. ago. This is truly the miracle we were all hoping and praying for.
We are so grateful for love, prayers, support, amazing Drs and nurses at Childrens and best of all that we get to go home a week early!
Thank you again and so in awe of our Lord who does "great and mighty things" in his sovereign grace.

Lizzie Update - February 11, 2016
Clearly it has been quite some time since I've updated this blog! Lol We plan to use this site to post updates on Lizzie over the next few weeks.
This is what we know so far. Based on the doctor’s findings during Lizzie’s most recent outpatient procedure, she is scheduled for an APV revision surgery this coming Monday, February 15th. (Feel free to google the word "mitrofanoff" for an explanation of an APV.) This will either be a quick and easy fix, or it will be an involved complex procedure. The surgeon will have no way of knowing until after surgery begins. This means that her hospital stay could be as short as one week or as long as a month. The more involved the surgery, the bumpier the road to recovery becomes. The worst case scenario would put her at a high risk for infection.
Please be in prayer for the following:
- peace and calm in our family’s hearts
- guidance for the medical team
- a quick and easy revision surgery
- complete healing without further complication
Thank you so much for your love and prayers!
